On 10th October, SOLID.engineer has signed a Master Service Agreement with its first Japanese customer. The partner is a leading Japanese company for VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). This is a great sign that SOLID.engineer will have its first steps in entering the market of the Land of Rising Sun, one of the biggest markets in IT.

Having her first customer since joining SOLID.engineer, Business Development Executive Linh (Hilary) Phan said:

I have a great dream to become a business development manager in IT Industry since my days at FPT University. Then, when I came to Japan for my internship, this great country has brought to me lot of friends and network for my future working life. Hence, ever since I joined SOLID.engineer, I want to go together with SOLID.engineer in our first steps to conquer the Japanese market. And somehow, I have achieved a part of it in this deal. My next step will be to grow our Japanese development team to 100 persons and open a Japanese office within the next 2-3 years.

Having read The Alchemist, a book by Paulo Coelho, this quotation has greatly embodied my life’s vision:

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
